I thought your guy said this wasn’t coming? I’m stunned. This is part of the Toyota City DNA. A Lexus just isn’t the same...

This sucks.

I’m frankly surprised that they didn’t “downsize” a bit and aim more at the new Bronco. But, I guess the FJ Cruiser came and went as well.

4Runner and Tacoma still sell like crazy, as well as most of their crossovers. I’m sure they just don’t see the need.
Will be interesting if they do bring something new to market to attempt to
prevent losing some
customers to Ford.

Have two buddies with recent 4Runners-- both love ‘em but that platform’s pretty dated by now too.

Yes, it is, but it’s quite good. Many Tacoma buyers wish their trucks still had the older drivetrain. My friend did the White Rim Trail in his a couple years back.

The RAV4 TRD Off-Road actually looks pretty sweet. But the MSPR is $36k, I wonder what they sell for if you can find one.

I gave $32.5k for my ‘18 Tacoma Off Road manual.

I’m still thinking they are going to redesign the Land Cruiser and LX570 altogether, take the Land cruiser back to it’s roots more, possibly
going back to the FJ name. Make the Land Cruiser more purpose built, less luxury more capability, lower price and more rugged design and looks,
and turn
the LX into a large
unibody
luxury SUV.
